Jamie Murray along with Neal Skupski were Defeated by seeds Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah in the semi-finals of Their men’s doubles at the US Open.

The British duo lost two tie-breaks in a 7-6 (7-5) 7-6 (10-8) defeat to the Colombians, who won the Wimbledon title before this season.
“It was a close game, no breaks of serve, not a lot of break points either,” explained Murray. “I guess we just didn’t create enough excellent returns at the ideal time and ended up shedding .
“It is frustrating to be that close to the final, losing by such a close margin, but it’s been a fantastic tournament.
“We played good tennis, five great matches, so it bodes well for us moving forward.”
Murray’s tournament isn’t over, however, because he has got the doubles final to play together with American Bethanie Mattek-Sands.
The champions face high seeds Chan Hao-ching and Michael Venus on Saturday.
At these men’s wheelchair doubles’ semi-final, Gordon Reid and Alfie Hewett beat French duo Stephane Houdet and Nicolas Peifer 6-0 6-3.
The pair will face Gustavo Fernandez of Argentina and the Shingo Kunieda in the closing of Japan.
