Swinging Johnson: This week Doug Upstone and leave our college football picks on the Monday night game between the Louisville Cardinals and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and I will detract from our regularly scheduled plan of NFL discussion to dip our feet into uncharted waters.

After reviewing the school football odds almost six days ahead of this Monday night affair, I see that the line has spiked a half-point on the preferred, opening at Notre Dame -19 1/2 to where it is presently offered in a solid -20 across the board at all the best internet sportsbooks.
You are currently leaning to the Cardinals although I enjoy the Irish. Besides the venue, why do you think Louisville could hang with the boys?

Scott Satterfield is in the big leagues and he has a team coming off of a dismal record this past year, where they went winless. This rebuild is comparable to attempting to turn it and taking a hot air balloon.
While that may eventually happen, the problem is that Louisville is facing a team that made it into the CFP last year and owned one of the stingiest defenses in all of college football, devoting only 17.2 points within the normal season and going a perfect 12-0 until they met Clemson in the CFP semifinals. The offense clicked on all cylinders averaging 33 points per match over.
So, my query is, how is a quarterback like Pass who is slow to release, designed to get some traction against a swarming shield? Especially when hes working with an offensive strategy and a brand new trainer?
Please, Doug, save me Im lost! I find no way, shape or form where Louisville is going to have the ability to keep pace and I am desperate for the ancestral wisdom and prodigious handicapping experience!
Doug Upstone: Well, Swinger, I am pleased to see in your last sentence youre coming over to the glowing side of sport gambling, or youre just being the exact identical shrewd a** you are. Ill allow the SBR readers who are currently making college football selections decide on that. Im the first to understand Louisville completely sucked and was 1-11 ATS, although not just 2-10 last year.

I understand that placing nearly three touchdowns on the street would be square biz for certain and Joe Q.
