England seamer Jofra Archer had needed his chances on winning Sports Personality of the Year 2019, slashed, after having a red hot start to his Ashes appearance.
The 24-year-old has been the catalyst at unsettling Steve Smith at Lords and has consequently been on the receiving end of a spate of bets.
Archer was cut to win the decoration that is individual, into as brief as 16/1 all the way , together with cash continuing to pour in for the Sussex star.
That is due to a flurry of bets over the week, with 54 percent of stakes in the marketplace backing the bowler.
