32, the Briton, launched a stunning comeback by a set and a break down to win 3-6 6-4 that was 6-4 from Antwerp to take his very first name for over a couple of years.
Murray had surgery in January and played just his seventh tournament since returning to singles.
He described it asone of the biggest wins of his career.
