Acu??a observed a fly ball he hit at the bottom of the third inning of yesterday’s 5-3 win against the Dodgers like it was a home run but it hit the perfect field wall and what should happen to be an extra-base hit turned into one and he had been thrown out trying to steal second base.
Braves manager Brian Snitker pulled Acu??a from the match instantly because of his lack of hustle to the drama.
“There is no excuse for it. I just took it and said’Of course.’ He is the supervisor, I am the player and I will respect his choices,” Acu??a mentioned about being pulled from the game in the fourth inning.
“You have gotta rush. It is not gont be okay here,” Snitker told reporters. “As a teammate, you are responsible for 24 other men. That title on front is a good deal more significant than that title on the back of the jersey. You can’t do that. We are attempting to achieve anything and do something unique here. Private things need to be placed on the back burner.”
Acu??a is young and he’ll make mistakes but he’s handling this episode the perfect way. The talented outfielder is hitting .296 with 35 home runs and 85 RBIs in 125 matches and if he learned his lesson afterward the incident will soon be forgotten immediately.
