Josh Tomlin has been busy with the Braves this season, but maybe not as a starting pitcher. They aren’t expected to offer a workload to him , but Tomlin had been a pitcher at Cleveland. Tomlin has created 49 appearences as a reliever for the Braves, submitting a commendable 3.82 ERA.
In 36 innings, he’s posted an ERA of 4.50 and 1.19 WHIP. The Royals have done nicely against Tomlin in his profession. So Tomlin isn’t anyone fresh they seen him lots in the AL Central if he had been with the Indians. The Royals are hitting against .301 with 15 runs scored against Tomlin. So expect to see two innings out of Tomlin again, however, this will be a bullpen game. The Braves’ bullpen possesses a 4.23 ERA in 2019.
The Braves have scored 21 runs against Mike Montgomery at 125 at-bats. They know him best from his time in Chicago with the Cubs.
