The business that provides that the Premier League’s video assistant referee (VAR) technology has apologised to Tottenham and Watford lovers following an incorrect picture was delivered to the huge screen during Saturday’s 1-1 draw.

However, originally the display erroneously indicated a’goal’ conclusion.
Hawk-Eye Innovations stated it’ll work with the league to prevent future problems.
The company said:”Hawk-Eye apologises to both Spurs and Watford fans because of the confusion caused.
“We are working together with the Professional Game Match Officials Board [the human body accountable for skilled match officials in England] and also the Premier League to understand the main cause of the problem and propose a set of measures to ensure it won’t occur again.”
Watford, that had a strong claim for a penalty turned down by VAR in the first half, stay winless in the foot of the Premier League table.
