Conor Washington will miss the remaining three European Qualifiers having a hamstring injury of Northern Ireland.
Earlier this season, washington, that started from the 2-0 defeat to Germany in Belfast, picked up the accident while stretching for the ball in Hearts’ 3-2 home loss to Motherwell on Saturday and will soon be out of action for three months.
Northern Ireland and Germany and the Netherlands are currently fighting for two qualification areas, with forward Washington significant to their own style in recent games.
Germany and Northern Ireland are equivalent with Germany in first position, on 12 points on top of the desk .
Netherlands are in third with nine points, but have one match in hand.
Before completing Group C with a home game followed by Germany away michael O’Neill’s side traveling to Rotterdam following month.
