William Haggas Intends to Provide an outing at Australia to Raheen House before a shot in the Lexus Melbourne Cup at Flemington in November.

The Newmarket trainer has allowed the Caulfield Cup on October 19 together using the Geelong Cup, as his target for Sea Even the Stars’ son.
The five year-old, one of just two horses to get defeated double Arc winner Enable, ended down the field on his latest start in the month’s Ebor at York – but he’d previously been placed in Listed and Group race company to the Knavesmire.
Haggas stated:”Raheen House is currently in quarantine right now, and he’s due to visit Australia soon.
“I believe he’s going to run into the Caulfield Cup if he puts in. If he does not get in he would go to the Geelong Cup.
“I think he wants to have a race first before the Melbourne Cup. He will run really well down there, and that I really don’t believe the two-mile trip in the Melbourne Cup will be no problem.”
Reflecting on Raheen House’s no display at the Ebor, the Vintage handler believes things conspired against him.
Haggas included:”He got a lot back, also (jockey) James (Doyle) said he did not quite have that ancient pace.
“James said they went difficult, however, and that he just got in the wrong place – but that’s how it is.
“The ground might have been been somewhat quick for him.”
