Australia winger Reece Hodge was banned for three matches after his reckless tackle on Peceli Yato from the World Cup Pool D success over Fiji.
An independent committee in Tokyo adjudged Hodge’s no-arms challenge on the Fijian flanker to justify a red card.

The suspension will end on 11 October, which means the winger will be qualified to play in the quarter-final if the two-time winners hit the final eight years at midnight.
