Were down to the final four men this week battling it out to be crowned the World Grand Prix champion. Chris Dobey battled against Ian White and faces Michael Van Gerwen at this evenings second semi-final. Dave Chisnall who will observe this as the perfect opportunity to finally get his hands on a major is taken on by glenn Durrant. Hes currently playing with some world class darts however, Glenn Durrant appears to have this talent of tight games. It is going to be a wonderful experience.
They kick us off this day and even though Duzza is enjoying with some darts but I just think Chizzy will have too much. He is playing some of those darts of his life as of late and will likely ooze confidence coming to tonight. Michael Van Gerwen v Chris Dobey is your second semi-final of the evening. MVG played but showed he could have moments that were edgy and King gave him a run for his money. He came during the evaluation, as he generally does, and that is the company preferred to continue and win the tournament. Dobey was striking again and I will see him becoming a top 10 player sooner rather than later. I think he hold his own and can give Michael a decent match tonight. Can he really do the unthinkable? I believe Van Gerwen is playing too well to shed, particularly over the very best of seven sets, although you dont know. Michael Van Gerwen to acquire 4-2 seems attractive in 4/1.??
