Michael Cheikas five-year tenure as Australia head coach is over after he opted to not seek reappointment following the Wallabies Rugby World Cup exit.
Cheika had previously said he would resign if Australia did not improve to the World Cup in 2015, but flocked to England to reporters inquiring about his potential after Saturdays 40-16 defeat in Oita.
